A new way of doing research in the library. Summon™ is a discovery system to do a single integrated search of the Library printed and electronic holdings, and of other relevant resources available in open access as well as the institutional archives: Luissearch, LuissThesis and Digital Library.
Summon™ shows information to localize printed items and grants access to the full text of several electronic resources. The only exception regards Italian databases that are searcheble exclusively by title as the contents are not retrieved by Summon.
For example, the publications of the following publishers:

- Franco Angeli
- Giuffré
- Ipsoa
- Sole24Ore
- UTET Giuridica
- Zanichelli
and the content of the following databases is not searchable:
- DoGi
- Dottrina d’Italia De Agostini
- ESSPER
- Fisconline
- Fisconline Dottrina
- Foro Italiano
- IUS Explorer (formerly DeJure, Biblioteca Riviste and Biblioteca Volumi)
- La mia Biblioteca WKI
- Pluris
- Sole24Ore Sistema banche dati
