The Luiss Library is currently operating in-person services under regulations for containing the Covid-19 spread (See Instructions and tips: Accessing Luiss Campuses).
Authorized users (Students, Faculty, and PhD candidates) are allowed to remain in the Library from Monday - Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The premises are closed on weekends to allow for sterilization.
During the Summer Break on August 10-23, the Library will suspend all services.
The following in-person services are available:
- Book returns - returns are possible exclusively through the self-check station located in the Political Science Room or by postal shipping (service available for all user groups).
- Book loans - before going to the Library, users must send a request by filling out the online form. Books can be withdrawn on the following business day, from 10:30am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 5:30pm at the Periodicals Room desk.
- Studying in the Library - entrance will be allowed on a first-come / first-served basis – exclusively for individual studying activity – with limited, spaced seating (54 chairs, 3 computer stations, and 2 Bloomberg terminals by appointment only), located in the Library.
Users cannot have direct access to any Library items. The circulation of all materials located in Remote storage will be temporarily suspended.
