The Library celebrates the International Women's Day

Elena Lucrezia Corner Piscopia

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all: it is the 4th goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which guided the selection of books on the occasion of the International Woman’s Day.

The Women’s Library collection is enriched by the monologue of Elena Lucrezia Corner Piscopia (see picture), the first woman in the world to obtain a degree and to bear the title of Doctor, and by many other books in which the feminine genius emerges with tenacity, determination, and passion.
