Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a lending and borrowing service between Italian libraries.
Books not owned by Luiss Library or by other libraries in Rome may be requested from other Italian libraries. Please check the Luiss Summon before sending the request.
Who can access the service?
- Students, Faculty, PhD candidates, Luiss Staff
- Alumni (Iscritti alla Biblioteca e Associazione Laureati Luiss)*

How can I consult the requested books?
Once delivered, books can be requested directly at the Law Room desk both for consultation and digital copies according with the following timetable: from Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
To reserve a seat or a scanner, students can access the EasyAcademy calendar also through the Luiss App (for students only). Faculty and PhD Candidates can book by sending an e-mail to email@example.com

How many books can be requested at a time?
To guarantee an efficient service, we ask users to make no more than 8 requests per month or 4 per day.
How much does the service cost?
The service is free of charge as long as we can forward your request to one of our partner libraries. Otherwise, the cost is usually no more than 6 Euro. It is our priority to inform you before placing the request.
