Most items can be borrowed, except for Course reserves, Reference works, and Periodicals. Before asking for a book, access the online Discovery to check availability, the call number, and the circulation policy of the book. You can ask the librarian for assistance or pick up the book from the shelf and use the self-check stations.
Delays beyond the 4 day grace period will lead to exclusion from service access for the amount of time equal to the duration of the delay, starting from the loan expiration date.

Additional service for Faculty
Faculty members can ask the Library for books to be delivered to another Luiss campus through internal mail by filling out the online form up to 3 requests per week. The delivery is in 2-3 working days.
If not already requested by another user, book loans can be renewed prior to expiration date up to 100 days.

Once books become available, users will receive a notification at their Luiss e-mail. Requests on hold shelf automatically expire after 4 days.
The books located in the remote storage can be requested using the form available through the Luiss Library Discovery.
Books requested from Remote Storage will be placed and ordered by requester's surname in the A-Z lockers in front of the self-check station in the Monographs Room (map). The self-service is open Monday-Sunday from 8:30am to 8:45pm according with the following calendar. Books can be borrowed for 40 days and journals are for consultation use only.
To borrow the requested books you can use the self-check station in the Monographs Room.
