World Book and Copyright Day 2026

As part of the celebrations for World Book and Copyright Day, the Library will host a talk on April 23rd centered on the Verzocchi Collection. The event offers a reflection on the intersection of business, art, and the depiction of labor within 20th-century Italian culture.

The volume Veni VD Vici will be on display - a rare and exquisite 1924 advertising catalog created by entrepreneur Giuseppe Verzocchi to promote his refractory bricks, representing a perfect marriage of art and industry.
