The Library is dedicated to ensuring inclusion and accessibility for all and has implemented measures to facilitate access to resources, services and spaces for students with disabilities.

The Library provides accessible bibliographic research tools:
- Luiss Library Discovery integrated search engine for the Library's printed and electronic resources and a selection of open-access contents

The Library offers customized services providing assistance from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Hours):
- orientation and bibliographic assistance
- book reservation and on-demand pickup
- reservation for picking up requested books on loan
- document conversion through the SensusAccess self-service platform
- simplified website navigation through AccessiWay software
- ergonomic station in the Periodicals Room with:
- video magnifier with text-to-speech and Optical Character Recognition (OCR). User manual
- electrified height adjustable table
- ergonomic armrest
- ergonomic trackball mouse (available upon request)
As of April 2023, Luiss has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture as an Authorised entity to make copies, on a non-profit basis, of bibliographic materials in an accessible format to meet the educational needs of the University's users with certified visual sensory disabilities (blindness or hypovision) and specific learning disorder, according to the DPCM of 6th July 2020.

Guide to using smart canes:
- contact the librarian at +39 06 8522 5600 to reserve your smart cane from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm
- download the free T-GO app (T-GO App Store | T-GO Google Play)
- activate the cane from the button on the top
- synchronize the cane with your mobile device using the T-GO app
- follow the tactile guiding path using the T-GO app: the smart cane will guide you to the Library’s rooms through voice commands, sound signals and vibrations
