The Foreign Law Guide (FLG) is an essential database offering relevant information on sources of foreign and comparative law, including complete bibliographic citations to legislation, the existence of English translations and selected references to secondary sources.

The print publication began in the 1990s and moved to the web in 2000.

Approximately 190 jurisdictions are systemically covered and updated by a global team of experts.

Each jurisdiction has a “main page” where you will find information on the government and legal system, primary sources of law, other print and online sources that are useful, and laws of the jurisdiction arranged by subject.

The database includes several sections:

• Riviste de Il Foro Italiano: browsable issues since 2013.
• Riviste La Tribuna: available in PDF format from 2010 onward, or from the first issue for more recent publications..
• Biblioteca Volumi: full text of Codici, Codici commentati, Codici Pocket, Formulari and preparation materials for Concorsi published by La Tribuna.
• Gli Speciali de Il Foro Italiano: full text of special monographic issues published from 2020 on.

From simple and advanced search you can access to various archives: Giurisprudenza (cases), Normativa (4 codes and complementary laws), Dottrina (articles and case notes published on La Tribuna and Il Foro Italiano journals), Bibliografia (includes bibliographic references published in Repertorio de Il Foro Italiano), Formulari, Prassi, Commentario.
