Compustat Financials provides standardized North American and global financial statements and market data for over 80,000 active and inactive publicly traded companies.
Compustat North America:
- Fundamental and market data for active and inactive companies covering approximately 30.000 U.S. companies that trade on a U.S. or Canadian Exchange. Annual, quarterly and monthly data is available from 1979 forward. 7 years of segment history data is included and daily market data from 1984
- Historical fundamental data for North American companies with annual data from 1950 and quarterly restated data from 1962
- Historical Annual and Quarterly Fundamental data for Banks and S&L companies. Coverage includes over 2000 active and inactive banks and thrifts with history beginning in 1962.
Compustat Global: financial and market data, covering publicly traded companies in more than 80 countries (non-U.S. and non-Canadian marketplace). Company data are normalized to provide comparability across a wide variety of global accounting standards and practices.
