Does the Library offer AI tools?

The Library provides Summon Research Assistant, integrated into the discovery tool, along with a selection of subscription-based resources identified by the Research Assistant tag. These are AI tools embedded in trusted search engines and academic platforms, designed to support study and research.
With advanced built-in functionalities, these tools help users to:

  • Quickly explore large volumes of scholarly content (journal articles, ebooks, conference proceedings)
  • Navigate abstracts, keywords, and bibliographic references
  • Identify high-quality, peer-reviewed sources
  • Reduce research time while improving the accuracy of results

All resources are available by subscription and can be accessed via OpenAthens using institutional credentials.

How do loans work?

Most items are available for borrowing, except for Course Reserves, Reference Works, and Periodicals. Before requesting a book, please use the online Discovery to check its availability, call number, and circulation policy. To locate the item, click on the map to see its position on the shelf. You can ask the librarian for assistance or pick up the book directly from the shelf and use the self-checkout stations.
