Does the Library offer AI tools?

With the Research Assistant tag, you can access all subscription-based resources enhanced with Artificial Intelligence tools, designed to support study, research, and navigation of scholarly content.
These are not generic chatbots, but advanced functionalities integrated into reliable academic resources, such as databases and publishing platforms, which will help you to:

  • Explore large volumes of content (journal articles, ebooks, conference proceedings)
  • Navigate abstracts, keywords, and bibliographic references more effectively
  • Improve the discovery of peer‑reviewed sources
  • Reduce research time while increasing the quality and relevance of sources

All resources are available by subscription and can be accessed via OpenAthens using institutional credentials.

How do loans work?

Most items are available for borrowing, except for Course Reserves, Reference Works, and Periodicals. Before asking a book, please use the online Discovery to check its availability, call number, and circulation policy. To locate the item, click on the map to see its position on the shelf. You can ask the librarian for assistance or pick up the book directly from the shelf and use the self-check stations.
